Haven SMP server rules
Haven is a close-knit community, and these rules keep it that way. This is a summary — the full rules live in our Discord server.
- No cheats or hacks
Hacked clients, macros, freecam and structure-locating minimaps are not allowed.
- No alt accounts
Alt accounts are not allowed under any circumstance. Using one to get around a ban or mute will increase your punishment.
- Be respectful
No hate speech, politics, harassment, creepy comments or unnecessary drama. No NSFW content.
- No impersonation
Don’t pretend to be staff or another player.
- No griefing or stealing
Respect other players’ builds and property. Finding a base on the live map is not permission to enter it, take from it or change it.
- Consensual PvP only
Combat without both players agreeing is not allowed.
- No advertising
Don’t share invites to other servers in public chat or in DMs.
- Use tickets properly
Don’t troll, spam, or open tickets on behalf of banned friends.
- Keep voice chat and media civil
No deafening audio or videos and no offensive soundboards. Use common sense.
Some things mean immediate action
- DDoS or doxxing threats — even as a joke — result in an instant IP ban.
- Seed cracking results in an immediate permanent ban.
How moderation works
Staff may issue a warning, but what happens depends on how serious the behaviour is, and decisions are reviewed through the staff team. Zero-tolerance conduct can lead to immediate action without a warning.
Appeals
If you think a decision was wrong, you can appeal through our Discord server. Once an appeal has been reviewed, the decision is final — particularly decisions made by admins and above. Appealing doesn’t guarantee a decision will change.
